Pictures I took at the 2016 Star Trek convention in Vegas. This convention is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.
A picture from Quark's bar. The folks serving drinks were dressed up as Ferengi. They even had someone dressed up as Morn next to the bar.
I believe a couple at the convention were married by an Elvis impersonator. A local TV crew was there to tape it. I'm sure it made the evening news.
A pic of Terry Ferral (Jadzia Dax), Nana Visitor (Kira), Nicole de Boer (Ezri Dax), and Ira Steven Behr (Writer). Nicole made an awfully cute Dax :)
This guy went above and beyond for this costume. Captain Christopher Pike. I was in a hurry to get to the main hall, so the pic isn't the greatest.
A very poor picture of Scott Bakula. He was pretty good on stage. He seems like a pretty decent guy. He answered tons of questions about Quantum Leap. It sounds like fans were VERY unhappy about Sam never making it home in the final episode of Quantum Leap. He also answered a question about Porthos his dog from Enterprise. The dog was actually female and well behaved. I wouldn't expect well behaved from a beagle :)
A very poor picture of Shatner. A boy in the audience asked him a very comical question about an episode of Twilight Zone. The episode where Shatner's character is on a plane and sees a gremlin/demon on the wing of the plane. The boy asked if he would have done anything different if it was "The Gorn" on the wing instead of the gremlin. The crowd was roaring in laughter. Shatner even complimented him on his VERY unqiue question.
